Maintenance Checklist
PURPOSE
This checklist must be completed by the Skipper before the vessel is released for commercial operation and again following the day’s activities.
It covers:
- Carrera 225 vessel
- Yamaha 300 XL V6 – DBW – DES
- Fuel and electrical systems
- Digital Electric Steering (DES)
- Digital By Wire (DBW) electronic throttle/control
- Power Trim & Tilt
- Bilge and pumps
- Safety equipment
- Water skis and ski ropes
- Wakeboard and wakeboard rope
- Kneeboard and kneeboard rope
- Tube and tube rope
- Refrigerator drawers
- Passenger areas
- Post-operation inspection and cleaning
Any safety-critical defect must be reported immediately, and the vessel must not operate until the defect has been assessed and cleared.
PURPOSE
This Weekly Maintenance Checklist provides a more detailed inspection of the vessel, Yamaha outboard and water-sports equipment.
It is intended to identify wear, deterioration, corrosion, looseness, damage and developing defects that may not be apparent during the normal Daily Check.
The Weekly Check does not replace the Daily Pre-Departure Check. Daily operational and safety checks must continue to be completed.
